This class will meet the second Saturday in every month for ten months. Each month you will knit various forms of color work. This is perfect for any knitter that would like to expand their knitting knowledge. PLUS you will have a beautiful throw just in time for the holidays! Afterthought Heel

The afterthought heel is a different technique to knit socks. The heel is added after the body of the sock is knit!! You can use this heel in place of a gusset heel. You can also use this technique when replacing a worn out heel of an old sock.YOU MUST HAVE PRIOR SOCK KNITTING EXPERIENCE for this class. There is homework for this class. You must pick up the pattern and supplies before the class. Homework- Work leg of the sock to where the pattern calls for waste yarn to be used.

Wet Felting Class

In this class we will view various samples of handmade felt, discuss materials and methods for making successful wool felt, and will be creating your own wet felted vessel with just wool, soap, water and agitation. The wet-felted vessel will be constructed in the colors of your choosing. A variety of hand dyed wool will be supplied by the instructor in this beginner vessel workshop. (Specific color requests should be notified at registration.) All supplies will be provided for use in this workshop.
